P.J. Kennedy & Sons has a long service to its accounts stemming back to the early part of 1920 when the primary fuel source was coal, and steam was the major heating medium. Air conditioning was in its infancy when the company—then a small plumbing and heating contractor—was busy developing a reputation for providing quality of service in both plumbing and heating.

In those days, P.J. Kennedy provided service mostly to the South End & Beacon Hill sections of Boston. Companies generally selected a geographic area of the city and most of the services were provided within that area.

Today, the company is operated by a third-generation family, which ensures the business relationships nurtured over the Twentieth Century will carry on throughout the Twenty First Century. The mission has not changed since then—to provide the best service for customers at the most reasonable price. What has changed is the number of service technicians and vehicles the company now maintains; it currently has 12 service vehicles and 20 vehicles for installation. The company is also proud of its status as a Union Mechanical Contractor.

P.J. Kennedy & Sons has moved forward with the times, and unlike many other service companies, it truly is a “full-service” company that’s far ahead of the curve in terms of today’s technology.

The following services are provided:
- Complete Plumbing/Heating and Air Conditioning Service
- 24-Hour Emergency Service
- Full H.V.A.C. Service Contracts
- Preventive Maintenance Contracts
